Alasca Black is an author, poet, counselor and interpreter based in the Hanseatic City of Wismar in Germany. Her writing is inspired by people especially women, children, animals and nature.
She is a ‘Jack-of-All-Trades’ and self-proclaimed wordsmith. Issues that are closest to her heart include experiences relating to racism, discrimination and hatred.
“These are issues that mainly affect my children, my friends and myself as people of colour”.
Alasca also writes about self-love, compassion, forgives and gratitude.
“As a person who thrives to look at the positive side of life, I write to motivate others to learn that we can only do ourselves a lot of good, if we choose love, compassion and gratitude because we cannot change everyone who chooses the opposite. Most of what we want is peace, love and harmony”.
