\nYou hold the compass needle to your heart.
\nYou can look into the mirror, not with scorn,
\nBut to see the faces of the loved, the sworn\u2014
\nThe ones who, in your reflection, have a part.
\nSee them in your heart, until you see yourself.<\/p>\n

For that glass may not reflect who you wish to see,
\nThe phantom of a perfect “me”.
\nIts surface might be marred by doubt and fear,
\nBut if you dwell in love, the vision becomes clear:
\nYou remember, deep down, you are love, right here.<\/p>\n

So, rub the love balm onto your heart’s skin,
\nThis salve made from your willingness to begin
\nTo see yourself, to appreciate the art
\nOf all you are\u2014each vulnerable, beating part.
\nFor in this place of love, this sacred ground,
\nA sacred echo in your soul is found:
\nAll that you send out, returns as love to you.
\nThis is the lesson, timeless, pure, and true.<\/p>\n

Love yourself. Respect the mirror you hold up.
\nThen watch the world, no longer bitter cup,
\nBut a gleaming glass, that will emulate.
